Public beta Now open to every family
Timeless is a warm, private home for your family’s stories, recipes, photos and videos. Find any memory by asking a question, and leave letters that open on a birthday, at an age, or after you’re gone.

How it works
Create an account and name your family. It’s a private space that only invited people can open.
Send a link, show a QR code, or share an 8-character code. Each invite works once and expires after 7 days.
Post a story, a recipe, a milestone, photos or a video right from your phone, and choose who can see it.
Type a word or ask a question. Timeless searches every memory you’re allowed to see, comments included.
Features
Photo sharing is only the start. Timeless is built to keep the stories behind the photos, and to keep them safe for the next generation.
Write down the family recipes, first words, wedding toasts and tall tales. Add tags, dates and places so every memory has its context.
Record or pick a video right on your phone. Big uploads resume where they left off if the signal drops or the phone sleeps.
Ask “How did Grandma make the apple pie?” and get the memory, not a camera roll. Search reads stories and comments alike.
Share each memory with 👪 my family, 👥 chosen people or 🔒 just me. Add an age limit so the right things wait until someone is old enough.
Seal a letter to open on a date, on someone’s birthday, or when they reach an age. Timeless keeps it safe and opens it right on time.
Leave memories for after you’re gone. The keepers you choose confirm it, there’s a waiting period, and nothing opens early.
Build your tree with photos, then follow it into the stories of each person on it. The tree becomes a way in, not just a chart.
Add a memory of your own, a thank-you or a question. Authors and everyone in the conversation hear about new comments, with push notifications if they want them.
Make a share link for a single memory or event, for a family friend or old neighbour, without letting them into the rest of your space. Stop sharing whenever you like.
Birthdays, anniversaries and gatherings in one place, with reminders. Import from Google Calendar or subscribe from your own calendar app.
Back in your old hometown? Timeless can gently tell you about memories that happened right where you’re standing.
Add Timeless to your home screen like an app, or use it in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Big text and simple choices make it easy for grandparents too.
Search
Every family has a story everyone half-remembers. Ask Timeless the way you’d ask your aunt, and it finds the memory, even if the answer is buried in a comment.
Search only ever looks through the memories you are allowed to see. Private and sealed memories stay hidden.

Time-released & legacy memories
A letter for a granddaughter’s 18th birthday. A recording for your son’s wedding day. Words for after you’re gone. Timeless keeps them sealed, safe and private, then delivers them exactly when you chose.
Until it opens, a legacy memory is visible to you alone. Nobody is told it exists, and search, the map and tags skip it.
Pick the people you trust. Only a keeper you chose can tell Timeless you’ve passed away.
After a report, nothing opens for a waiting period. If you sign in, one tap on “I’m still here” seals everything again.
Each memory opens the way you chose: straight away, on a date, on someone’s first birthday after you’ve gone, or when they reach an age.
Real families
Real families aren’t one tidy tree. With Timeless you can belong to your own family, your partner’s, your parents’ and your in-laws’, and switch between them with a tap.
Privacy & security
Your memories belong to you. We don’t show ads, we don’t sell data, and the site doesn’t follow you around with tracking cookies.
Every operation needs a signed-in account. There are no public profiles and no public feed. Invites work once, expire, and are stored only as a scrambled fingerprint.
Who can see a memory is worked out on our servers whenever something changes, and checked on every request. Browsers can’t change it.
Photos are checked on the server and saved again without camera metadata such as GPS location. Videos are checked before and after upload.
Photos and videos live in private storage on AWS. Nobody gets a direct key. Each viewer gets a short-lived link, and only after the same access check as the memory.
Sign-in runs on Amazon Cognito with strong passwords, emailed codes and “sign out on every device”. Sign-in errors never reveal whether an email has an account.
Data is protected with point-in-time recovery. Security and privacy are the same on every plan, free or paid.
Plans
When paid plans arrive, you’ll pay per family, not per person, so relatives always join free. We’ll give you plenty of notice before anything changes, and we’ll never delete your memories if a plan lapses.

About the public beta
You’ll be one of the first families to use Timeless. Things may still change, and you may find the odd rough edge. That’s exactly what we want to hear about.
From the blog
Timeless is open to every family. Here's what it is, what to try first, and what we ask of you while we're in beta.
FAQ
Only the people you choose. Each memory can go to your whole family, to people you pick, or to just you, and you can add an age limit. Nobody outside your family can see anything unless you make a share link for one memory.
Yes. You can join as many family spaces as you’re invited to, and switch between them from the family name at the top of the app. Each family’s memories stay in that family.
You write a memory and choose who it’s for and when it should open. You also choose keepers, the people you trust to tell Timeless when you’ve passed away. After a keeper reports it, there’s a waiting period. If you sign in during it, one tap on “I’m still here” seals everything again. Then each memory opens as you chose.
No. Timeless works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Yes, free for the whole beta. When paid plans arrive they’ll be priced per family, not per person, and there will always be a free plan. We’ll give you notice first, and memories are never deleted if a plan lapses.
No. Timeless doesn’t show ads, doesn’t sell personal data, and doesn’t use tracking cookies. You own what you post.
During the beta, please keep photos and videos of children and your most private family details for later. Everyday memories are perfect while we polish things.
